Odessa
Odessa
Odessa Rosalie Jorgensen’s homegrown songwriting is deeply rooted in her idyllic childhood upbringing in Northern California, surrounded by natural beauty, creative parents and five younger siblings. Encouraged to pursue her musical aspirations, Odessa began playing violin at age four and at only 14-years-old, found herself playing at Carnegie Hall. “I always knew from a young age that I wanted to be playing for people,” she says. “That is where I feel the most at home, when I am holding an instrument.”

Odessa invites listeners into her inner world, using songwriting and ethereal melodies to serve emotional honesty and share her life experiences and inspiration.

In 2012, she released her first single, “I will be There,” which landed her a Subaru commercial and was the highest ‘Shazamed’ song of the year. Her first solo album, ODESSA, produced by Jaquire King was released in 2015 and was quickly featured in various films, such as the musically driven If I Stay, and hit television shows including Heart of Dixie, Grey’s Anatomy, and Redband Society.

Besides the accolades, one of Odessa's most memorable experiences was being personally invited to perform on The Queen Latifah Show. She has also performed and toured with noteworthy bands such as Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Conor Oberst, Rayland Baxter, Nikki Lane, Karen Elson, and Abigail Washburn.

Odessa is currently working on her second album. She resides in Los Angeles, Ca.
Fake Lake
Fake Lake
Fake lake is a Dutch duo of dream-pop musician Sofie Winterson and photographer Laura Kampman, based between LA and Amsterdam. Musically Laura had just been creating ambient in her bedroom. When she started looking for someone who she could create vocal parts with, she met Sofie. Meeting each other quickly turned into collaborating together. Fake Lake is a place that meets in the middle of their Ambient and Dream Pop interests. Sofie has been writing music since she was a child, her father and all her siblings are musicians. Laura had no professional experience and a family that has no musical interests. Coming from two opposites worlds and experiences made them able to create this little (strange) universe together, both musically and visually.
